Here’s more of what’s in the interview:
• Gainey became involved in the project through Ted Bonnitt, with whom he has collaborated for over 30 years.
• The production used extensive research and resources, including three sound crews and numerous microphones, to create a unique and immersive audio experience.
• Unlike traditional voiceovers done in sound booths, this project involved actors performing together in a sound stage to capture authentic interactions. It was also crafted to replicate the way the human brain perceives sound, enhancing the listener’s immersion.
• The production process was akin to shooting a movie, with actors needing to be highly familiar with their roles and perform in sequence.
