Nick Offerman Shares His 2 Rules of Success

At first glance, one wouldn’t expect macho-looking actor Nick Offerman to care about being polite. But the star of NBC’s Parks and Recreation attributes his niceness to getting ahead in the industry.

Seth Rogen: “I’m not one of those actors where filmmakers that I admire ask me to be in their movies”

Seth Rogen can no longer be known for only playing comedic man-child parts.

The comic actor took on a dramatic role in Sarah Polley’s new indie film Take This Waltz and in an interview with Yahoo! News, said, “It’s probably closer to what I am in real life. I think I’m one of those people that when fans meet, they’re often very disappointed because I’m kind of quiet and shy. I think they expect me to have one of those hats with two beer cans strapped to my head and strippers on either side of me. So it was nice to do something where I didn’t have to be really funny all the time.”

Sutton Foster on ‘Bunheads’ and Fame: ”When I decided to be an actor, I never thought about celebrity”

Despite winning two Tonys, Sutton Foster was ready for something different. She said that starring in the hit production of Anything Goes was wearing her out. “I did 300 performances,” she said. “Doing the same thing every night. I had to overcome a lot personally and professionally. I needed something new. I was thinking maybe I should take a year off and move to San Diego and work in a taco shack.”

Jon Bernthal on ‘Small Engine Repair’ and His Frustrations with New York as a Young Actor

Jon Bernthal went through a lot during his time as Shane Walsh on AMC’s zombie drama, The Walking Dead.

Now that he has been killed off (oops – spoiler!) Bernthal is taking on a role in MCC Theater’s play Small Engine Repair. In an interview with The New York Times, the actor noted that the production struck him as a “dangerous play, with a masculine authenticity.”

Nathan Lane on His ‘Iceman Cometh’ Pre-Show Preparation

During the run of the show, he and actress Laurie Metcalf (who is currently starring as Mary Tyrone in O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night on London’s West End) exchanged emails about the pressures of working with O’Neill’s text, food before shows and pre-show preparation.
