Happy birthday, Andrew Garfield! The former Peter Parker turns 27 years old today.
Garfield won a Tony Award for his performance in the 2018 revival of Angels in America, and was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge, and has been nominated for three BAFTA Awards and two Golden Globes.
Since passing on the Spider-Man role to Tom Holland, Garfield has concentrated on appearing in films made by acclaimed filmmakers, include Martin Scorsese (Silence) and Andy Serkis (Breathe). To promote his role in Breathe, Garfield participated in a Conversations for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. The Q&A session was moderated by Pete Hammond of Deadline. Though the conversation mainly focuses on Garfield’s role in Breathe, he also spoke about his other roles and experiences as an actor.
