With its third season premiere tonight on Comedy Central, the comedy series Broad City — which originally spun off of a popular web series — has certainly found its audience. That can be credited to the stars and creators of the series, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, two “broads” who seem to find the fun in every possible situation one can end up in in New York City.
In a conversation presented by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation moderated by David Itzkoff of the New York Times, Glazer and Jacobson joke about their success with the series, jumping from a web series to cable television, and how their show is related to popular 1990s sitcoms.
