Dennis Quaid stars in A Dog’s Purpose, which is being released in theaters today.
Okay… to be fair, we know the real star of the film is the dog. But Quaid deserves some credit — since the mid 1970s, Quaid has created a successful acting career including films such as The Long Riders, All Night Long, The Right Stuff, The Big Easy, Suspect, Great Balls of Fire!, The Day After Tomorrow, Something to Talk About, Any Given Sunday, Frequency, and Far from Heaven, just to name a few. He even received an Emmy nomination for playing Bill Clinton in 2010’s The Special Relationship.
In this conversation presented by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation and moderated by Jenelle Riley of Variety, Quaid speaks about his career at length and his most memorable roles.
